MINDTRUST

THE  MIND  TRUST  GROUP

We design, engineer, and ship category-defining apps and websites — from first sketch to launch, built entirely in-house.

Our Mission

We build software. Obsessively. The Mind Trust Group exists to turn ambitious ideas into apps and websites people genuinely love — sweating the details most teams skip, from the animation that lands just right to the architecture that holds at scale.

02 — What We Build

Apps. Websites. The systems behind both.

One in-house team, three areas of work — each built to the same standard.

Native iOS applications engineered for performance and built to pass App Store review the first time — from first sketch to launch.

Explore app development

From private equity and finance sites to gaming platforms and e-commerce — websites engineered around what each audience actually needs.

Explore web development

APIs, databases, and AI features that earn their place instead of bolting on for show — the infrastructure behind the interface.

05 — Let's build

Have a product in mind?

Tell us what you're building. We'll tell you how we'd make it real — and what it takes to ship it well.

Apps & Websites

Two different products. One studio that builds both well.

Most agencies specialize in one or the other — an app shop that treats your website as an afterthought, or a web agency that outsources anything native. We do both in-house, which means the same team that designs your product also builds the site that sells it, with nothing lost in a handoff.

01No handoffs, ever
The people who design your product are the people who build it. Nothing gets lost between an agency and a dev shop, because we are both.
02Stack chosen per problem
Native for apps, modern frameworks for the web, infrastructure sized to the product — the technology serves the build, never the other way around.
03Built to be owned
Source code, design files, and infrastructure access are yours at handoff. What we build is your asset, not our leverage.
02 — Capabilities

Everything a product needs, under one roof.

Six systems, one studio. The wheel cycles through each — or select a node.

System /01

Product Strategy

Positioning, scope, and a roadmap grounded in what users will actually pay for — before a line of code is written.

System /02

iOS Development

Native, fluid, App-Store-ready applications engineered for performance and built to pass review the first time.

System /03

Backend & Infrastructure

Secure APIs, databases, auth, and payments — architected to stay fast and reliable as usage scales.

System /04

AI Integration

Intelligent features that earn their place — assistants, recommendations, and automation done with restraint.

System /05

Brand & Interface Design

Identity, design systems, and interfaces with a point of view — the difference between an app that works and one people love.

System /06

Launch & Growth

App Store optimization, analytics, and the retention loops that turn a launch into a product that keeps growing.

03 — Websites, By Category

Every kind of website needs a different thing from its design.

Open a category. Each one is a different problem — and a different build.

CAT / 01Gaming & Esports
Gaming audiences are impatient and mobile-first. The site has to load fast, get out of the way of the art, and work as well on a phone as a 30-inch monitor.
Dark, high-contrast themesBold display type, restrained accentsBuilt mobile-first, not mobile-friendly
CAT / 02Private Equity & Finance
Institutional visitors decide whether to trust a firm within the first thirty seconds. The site's job is to earn that trust fast, then get out of the way of the numbers.
Portfolio as proof of performanceData-driven storytellingBuilt for LPs and allocators
CAT / 03E-Commerce & Retail
Every extra second of load time costs checkouts. We build storefronts engineered around speed, clarity, and the shortest possible path to purchase.
Conversion-first checkout flowFast, filterable browsingScales with inventory and traffic
CAT / 04Corporate & Brand
For a company site, the job is simple: look credible, explain what you do in one screen, and make it effortless to get in touch.
Single-message hierarchyFast, confident first impressionRepresents the brand, never buries it
CAT / 05SaaS & Web Apps
The marketing site and the working product often live in the same breath for SaaS. We build the front door and the software behind it.
Marketing site plus product UIBuilt for trials and onboardingScales with your roadmap
CAT / 06Nonprofit & Education
Mission-driven sites succeed when the story is easy to find and the path to act — donate, apply, enroll — is even easier.

04 — Why It Matters

A few things the data says about performance.

None of this is unique to us — it's widely documented across the industry. We just take it seriously when we build.

1s
Sites that load in about a second convert roughly 3x better than ones that take five.
4s+
Roughly a quarter of visitors abandon a site that takes longer than four seconds to load.
78%
Share of gamers who now play primarily on mobile rather than PC or console.
56%
Share of the global esports audience that watches content on a mobile device.

The best website in the world is invisible — the visitor never thinks about the site itself, only about what they came to do.

Engineering runs in short sprints. For apps you get TestFlight builds on your own phone from early on; for websites, a live staging link. You're talking directly to the people writing the code — there is no account-manager wall at this studio.

TIMELINES SCALE WITH SCOPE — A MARKETING SITE MOVES IN WEEKS, A FULL APP IN MONTHS. YOUR PROPOSAL PINS THE REAL DATES.

02 — Comms Protocol

You'll never wonder what's happening.

The most common complaint founders have about agencies isn't quality — it's silence. We run the opposite way.

WEEKLY DEMO — SEE THE REAL BUILD, NOT A SLIDE DECK
DIRECT LINE — YOU TALK TO THE PEOPLE BUILDING IT
FIXED SCOPE — NO SURPRISE INVOICES, EVER
03 — Common Questions

What people usually want to know.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope. A focused marketing website can launch in a few weeks; a full mobile app with a custom backend typically runs a few months from kickoff to App Store. We give you a real timeline once we understand what you're building, not a generic estimate.

Do you build both apps and websites in the same project?

Often, yes. A lot of products need both — a native app plus the marketing site and admin tools that support it. We handle the whole system in-house so nothing gets lost in a handoff between vendors.

What does a project cost?

It scales with scope, same as timeline — a website is a different investment than a full iOS app with a custom backend. We ask about budget early in the intake so we can scope something realistic, rather than oversell or undersell what you actually need.

What technology do you build with?

Native engineering for iOS apps, modern frameworks for the web, and infrastructure sized to what the product actually needs — never more than necessary. We pick the stack for the problem, not the other way around.

Do we own the code and design when it's done?

Yes. What we build is yours — source code, design files, and infrastructure access, included at handoff.

Do you offer support after launch?

Launch is a milestone, not an ending. We offer ongoing support and iteration after ship — happy to talk through what that looks like for your project.

Tell us what you're building. We'll tell you how we'd make it real — and what it takes to ship it well.

01 — The Forge

Every company starts as a word.

Hit the button. Each press forges a new invented name on the spot — the same spark we chase for real clients, minus the months of vetting.

NOCTARA
INVENTED · FORGED IN-STUDIO

A toy, not the process — real naming is research, shortlists, and clearance. But every real name starts as a spark like this.

02 — The Evidence

Some of the biggest companies on Earth weren't born with their names.

Founders agonize over naming because it matters — and history proves it. Every one of these companies launched under a different name, got stuck with it, and changed course. The rename wasn't cosmetic. It rewrote how the world saw them.

BackRubGoogle
CadabraAmazon
Blue Ribbon SportsNike

Sound of MusicBest Buy

Getting the name right early is cheaper than getting famous under the wrong one.

03 — Name Families

Four ways a name can work.

None is inherently better — the right family depends on what you're building and who has to trust it fast.

FAM / 01
Descriptive
GENERAL MOTORS · THE HOME DEPOT
Says exactly what you do. Instantly understood — harder to trademark and to stand out as you grow.
FAM / 02
Evocative
AMAZON · NIKE · AFTER HOURS
Suggests a feeling or idea without stating it. More ownable long-term; takes a beat longer to explain.
FAM / 03
Invented
KODAK · XEROX · AMOURÈ
A built word with no prior meaning. Maximum trademark and domain availability — recognition earned from zero.
FAM / 04
Founder & Place
FORD · PATAGONIA
Built on a person or place. Personal and credible, but can limit how far the brand travels.
04 — How We Name

Naming has its own process — and it isn't a brainstorm.

This is the part of the studio we're most sentimental about. We've named our own products, and we love doing it for founders who've been staring at a blank page for weeks. A good naming engagement looks nothing like a whiteboard session — it looks like this.

STEP / 01
Brief
Positioning, audience, tone, and what the name has to carry. A name for a bank and a name for a game shouldn't come from the same place.
STEP / 02
Territories
We map the directions worth exploring — descriptive, evocative, invented, founder-led — and decide where your brand should live.
STEP / 03
Generation
A long-list of candidates, generated and culled in rounds. Most die fast. The survivors earn a spot on the shortlist.
STEP / 04
Screening
Every finalist runs the vetting gauntlet below — domains, trademarks, app stores, pronunciation, meaning across languages.
STEP / 05
Decide & own
You choose from names that survived. Then we help you lock it down — domain, handles, and the story you'll tell with it.
05 — The Vetting

A name has to survive more than a brainstorm.

The fun part is the spark. The valuable part is what we run every shortlisted name through before you commit.
